Quick Tip For Putting

Before I head out to my local disc golf course, I wanted to share one of the first tips I learned that helped me a great deal.

When putting, use your index finger of your throwing hand to point at your target (the basket) as you release the disc. Toss your putter higher than your target (I usually aim for the top of the basket) so it gracefully falls into the middle of the basket. I usually put quite a bit of body movement into a putt as well, leaning forward with the throw. Hear that wonderful *chink* sound as you land your putt!
