My Favorite Disc Golf Disc
Sorry for the lack of blogging the last few days, I’ve been caught up with some work stuff and haven’t had time to hit the local disc golf course.
One thing I just had to tell you guys about is the disc I use and love! I have been disc golfing almost a year now so I feel pretty comfortable with my throwing technique. I had been using an Innova Archangel for driving - then I switched to the Innova Champion Beast. This disc is simply amazing! With the same throw, I can throw this thing dozens of feet further than my Archangel and it stays flat almost the entire drive. I’ve been fairly good at aiming my drive so this disc fit my throw perfectly!
If you have been disc golfing for a while and you don’t have a Champion Beast, I suggest you get one and give it a test drive - I’m sure you’ll be impressed.

If you like that Beast, you should give the Firebird a try. I bought both at the same time. Both fly similarly with my driving style (rhfh) but I get about 30 more feet on the same throw with the Firebird.
You have to give it a lot of power, but the reward is a much easier (and often makable) approach.
